This Privacy Policy explains how Manajodi(“Manajodi”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Manajodi service — an invite-only AI-powered social discovery and communication platform for verified community interactions. Manajodi is built around trust, so we collect only what we need and we are direct about how it is used.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to everyone who creates an account, completes verification, or otherwise uses Manajodi. Manajodi is intended only for individuals aged 21 or older.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information— your name, email address, and mobile phone number, provided when you sign up.
- Identity verification information— when you verify your identity, our verification provider (Persona) processes a government-issued ID and a live selfie. Manajodi receives only the verification result and a reference identifier — we do not store your ID document or selfie image.
- Profile information— details you choose to add, such as your age, city, interests, qualities, languages, conversation goals, community preferences, and a short bio.
- Usage information— searches you run and actions you take in the app, used to operate and improve discovery.
- Technical information— IP address, device and browser type, and security-related log data.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- create and secure your account, and authenticate your sign-ins;
- send one-time verification codes by SMS to confirm your phone number and protect your account;
- verify that you are a real, unique person aged 21 or older;
- operate social discovery and show you relevant verified community members;
- detect and prevent fraud, fake profiles, abuse, and other harmful activity;
- respond to your requests and provide support;
- comply with legal obligations.
4. SMS and text messaging
Manajodi uses SMS text messages to send one-time passcodes and account-security notifications. These are transactional messages tied to actions you take — we do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
When you provide your mobile number and request a code, you consent to receive these SMS messages from Manajodi. Message frequency varies and depends on your activity (for example, each time you sign in or perform a security-sensitive action). Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
You can reply STOP to any message to opt out of SMS messages, and HELP for assistance. Opting out of verification messages may prevent you from completing sign-in or using features that require a verified phone number. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with our messaging provider (see the next section) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you requested.
5. How we share information
Manajodi does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the limited ways described below.
Service providers.We use a small set of trusted providers that process data only on our instructions and only to deliver the service — never for their own marketing:
- Persona— government ID and selfie/liveness identity verification.
- Telnyx— delivery of SMS one-time verification codes.
- Cloudflare— network security, bot mitigation, and content delivery.
Other members. Profile details you choose to add (such as your interests and bio) may be shown to other verified members through discovery. We never display your precise location, email address, or phone number to other members.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of our members and the public.
6. Identity verification and sensitive data
Identity verification is performed by Persona. The government ID image and selfie used for liveness checks are processed and retained by Persona under its own privacy practices; Manajodi stores only the verification outcome and a reference identifier, not the underlying documents or images. We never store raw ID numbers, document images, or biometric templates on our systems.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account data and associated records, and request that our verification provider purge its copy of your verification artifacts. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Security
We apply administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, isolated infrastructure, least-privilege access, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but protecting your data is central to how Manajodi is built.
9. Your rights and choices
You can access and update your profile information at any time from within the app, and you can request deletion of your account. To exercise a privacy right, contact us at [email protected]. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, as described above.
10. Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
11. Age requirement
Manajodi is for adults aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the service.
