Delete Your Account

The quickest way to delete your account is from the app itself, while signed in:

• Open Manajodi and sign in to your account.
• Go to your profile, then open Account settings.
• Choose Delete account and confirm when prompted.

Once confirmed, your account is closed and the deletion described below begins.

If you cannot access the app — for example, you can no longer sign in — email us at [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may take steps to confirm the request comes from the account holder before proceeding.

When your account is deleted, we remove:

• your profile, photos, bio, interests, and other profile details;
• your account information, including email and phone number;
• your discovery activity, opt-ins, and profile connections;
• your messages and conversations.

We also request that our verification provider, Persona, purge its copy of your identity-verification artifacts.

We may retain a limited set of records for a limited time where this is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes — for example, records needed to comply with the law or to prevent a banned user from re-registering. Retained records are kept only as long as necessary for those purposes. This is consistent with the data-retention section of our Privacy Policy.

Deletion of your account data begins as soon as your request is confirmed and is completed within 30 days. Backups are purged on their normal rotation. Once deletion is complete, your data cannot be recovered — using Manajodi again would require creating a new account and completing verification afresh.
